I never use the 24-105 and only occasionally use the 35IS, usually stopped down to f/2.8 or f/4. I prefer the body size of the 6D, but the button layout of the 5D Mark III. But AF wise, center point aside in low light (which is not really a factor for me), the 5D Mark III wins. Selling those 3 should get me within $200 of what I paid for the 5D Mark III and 16-35 I picked up today. Originally I was buying the combo to resell it as I'm certain I can make a fair amount on it (deal was that good - he knew nothing about the used market and figured the equipment depreciated much more) but now I'm thinking I might as well keep the new gear and sell the 6D + grip, 24-105, and 35IS instead. The guy who bought it literally used it once, he's a high end realtor (3 to 6+ million dollar properties) and realized after using it once, real estate photography is actually hard, and now he hires it out - I have his business card, website, etc, his story is legit.
#5D MARK III VS 6D MARK PRO#
Got a Canon UV filter, extra Canon battery, and 64gb extreme pro SD card with it. I have the original receipt as well and it's under warranty for another 6 months. Today I managed an insane deal on a practically new 5D Mark III (less than 100 clicks) and a practically new 16-35 f/4L IS. I also have the 35 f/2 IS that I rarely use. I'm up to around 18k now and figure I can sell it for a slight loss, financially. I've had the 6D for a year and a half and love it! I bought it used for $1500 including the 24-105 f/4L (literally never use the lens) and it had around 4300+/- clicks.
